"FIS Athletics supports the mission statement of the school and contributes to the overall educational program. It is our firm belief that a well-conducted competitive athletic program, based on sound educational principles and best practice, significantly aids the development of every student-athlete.

Frankfurt International School believes in offering competitive athletic opportunities to as many students as possible, striving for broad participation and competitive excellence, whilst encouraging the highest levels of sportsmanship and fair play.

FIS believes that the welfare of the student–athlete is our prime concern – physically, academically and emotionally."

This student-run organization works with the Athletic Department and Athletic Booster Club to promote sports and support athletes. Participation includes planning pep assemblies, wearing the "Frankie the Warrior Bear" mascot outfit, organizing dodge ball tournaments and more.
